Best Pool Cleaning Ideas For A Sparkling Swimming PoolIt is so good to have the freedom to use your own swimming pool at any time of the day or evening during the warmer vacation holidays. It is great to share this time with family and friends and encourage all members to become accomplished swimmers as well as enjoy the fun of water sports. As this is the time when we expect to entertain a number of visitors as well as family, the pool area becomes the center of all the activities planned. Everyone is complimentary about your pool and the enjoyment it brings but few realise the amount of maintenance required to keep its sparkling clean appearance. Pool Maintenance is a necessary evil for the pool owner and is a serious responsibility. Unless you are able to employ a pool company to upkeep your pool then the job falls to you. Thankfully there are many new products which make this task much easier than previous owners have enjoyed. If your pool is a chemical chlorine based system then there are a number of different products available to maintain the health and safety of your pool. There are two very important parts of your maintenance equipment. One is the pool testing kit – a very cheap but effective means of measuring the PH of your pool water. The other is your eyes – if the water is cloudy or slightly green then pool shock treatment may be required to restore it to full health again. If you make a set time each week to check all of the pool equipment this will prevent any unexpected problems occurring due to malfunctioning filters or pumps. This is not only is a cost saving but is also a preventative measure controlling the health of the pool water. If pool shock treatment is required it can be carried out at this time too. If you have a non chemical based pool then a similar maintenance program needs to be carried out with the appropriate pool cleaners for your pool. The amount of chemicals or non chemicals used in the cleaning process are dependent of the weather conditions, as extra rain and long hot days can cause evaporation and upset the PH levels of the pool. A healthy PH level is between 7.2 – 7.8 with the ideal range between 7.4 – 7.6.
